It's all right. Thank you for all your help so far. I'm running Player 3.1.0 and Stage 4.1.1 on a 64-bit Ubuntu system. I think I'm just going to let this sit for the time being since I'm focusing more on Gazebo at this point in time. Just out of curiosity, aside from playercam, can I write my own driver that would take the image data from playerc_camera_t and display it in a GUI?

Sure.  In fact, that's all playercam really is.  It uses playerc to
subscribe to a camera interface, and pushes the images out to the ui.
